LAOWA Aurogon Product Features
LAOWA Aurogon is a lens set that allows everyone from professional photographers to macro photography enthusiasts to freely enjoy shooting at up to 50x magnification. They achieve high-magnification photography of the world that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
Switchable magnification from 10x to 50x
Photographers can switch between 10x, 20x, 35x, and 50x magnification to capture invisible beauty. The lens body consists of two parts: a switchable magnification tube that attaches to the camera and an objective lens on the front.
By attaching the fixing set to the front lens, users can easily switch the magnification tube on the camera side.
Microscope lens attached to camera
Aurogon is not a lens for special microscopes, but a compact photo lens that attaches directly to a general camera. This lens design brings new discoveries in the macro world not only at home but also outdoors.
Fixed working distance at all magnifications
Aurogon is designed with a fixed working distance of 20mm at all magnifications, so there is no need to readjust the camera position when changing magnification. Additionally, by placing the light at a distant location, users can prevent damage to the subject or polarizing plate due to the heat from the light.
APO design
The apochromatic (APO) design provides clear images with reduced chromatic aberration.
Microscope lens set that covers full frame
Eight mounts are available: Arri PL, Canon EF, Canon RF, Sony E, Nikon F, Nikon Z, L mount, and Fuji G. Depending on the setup, it can also be used as a stereo microscope or biological microscope for macro photography enthusiasts, professional video productions, factories, and industrial use.
Adjustable high numerical aperture (NA)
The eight levels of numerical aperture values are from 0.5 to 0.15 engraved on the objective lens correspond to the depth of field in microscopic photography. The large NA value allows shooting at low ISO sensitivity, resulting in clearer images.
Aurogon exclusive tube slip ring (sold separately)
Aurogon exclusive tube slip ring is available for a stable setup. By using this ring, users can secure the lens in place, minimize vibration and focus shifts, and achieve sharp, in-focus shots.
