Blackmagic Design will host a seminar in collaboration with System5 on May 22, 2024 to discuss the appeal of the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K, tips on how to use it, recommended peripherals, and how it works with the editing software DaVinci Resolve. The guest speaker will be Yumeto Kitayama, a colorist at IMAGICA Entertainment Media Services, who was responsible for the color grading in the hit movie, Drive my Car. Kitayama-san will demonstrate grading Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K footage with DaVinci Resolve Studio. He will also talk about the appeal of BMCC6K materials from the perspective of a colorist and how to create looks using DaVinci Resolve.
This ongoing series of seminars is a dialogue between System5’s “Yamamon,” Yamamoto Ryuta, and a number of guest speakers. The series itself will be streamed online on YouTube, and held offline simultaneously on the 3rd floor of the Blackmagic Design Office in Meguro, Tokyo.
