Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL f2.8/70-200mm ASPH.
The Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL f2.8/70-200mm ASPH is one of the third high-performance SL zoom lenses with an aperture value of F2.8, following the Leica Super Vario-Elmarit-SL f2.8/14-24mm ASPH. and the Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL f2.8/24-70mm ASPH. All three lenses have the same aperture value and can be used to take photos and videos at a wide range of focal lengths, from wide-angle 14mm to super telephoto 200mm.
The Vario-Elmarit-SL f2.8/70-200mm ASPH is a standard focal length for telephoto lenses, and is ideal for taking impressive portraits. It also boasts a bright maximum aperture of F2.8 for a telephoto zoom lens, and by combining this brightness with the camera’s excellent image stabilization function, it can also be used to photograph sporting events and natural landscapes.
The lens is made up of 20 elements in 15 groups, 3 of which are aspherical lenses. It is possible to shoot clear, sharp images with clear details even at the periphery of the screen throughout the entire zoom range. In addition, because it uses an inner focus system, the overall length of the lens does not change even when focusing, making it easy to operate.
Leica Extender L 2.0x
Also being released this time is the new Leica Extender L 2.0x. This is an L-mount teleconverter that is ideal for use with SL system telephoto zoom lenses. This teleconverter allows you to extend the focal length of the Vario-Elmarit-SL f2.8/70-200mm ASPH to a maximum of 400mm. The focal length is extended to 140-400mm. With its compact size, it can be stored in a bag without taking up too much space, expanding the possibilities of creative expression.
