Canon at Inter BEE 2024 Booth Exhibitions
A wide range of video production equipment including products exhibited for the first time in Japan
Canon plans to exhibit the digital cinema camera, “EOS C80” (released November 6, 2024), which will be exhibited in Japan for the first time, as well as CINEMA EOS SYSTEM products such as the “EOS C400” (released September 2024). Additionally, they will be showcasing a lineup of EOS R system products compatible with video shooting, including the mirrorless camera “EOS R1” (scheduled for release in late November 2024) and the “EOS R5 Mark II” (released August 2024).
In addition, Canon plans on introducing a number of products that will contribute to the diversifying video production scene, such as the 4K broadcast portable zoom lens “CJ27e×7.3B” (released in August 2024) and the high-sensitivity camera, “MS-500” (released in August 2023).

A wide range of solutions that contribute to improving the efficiency of video production sites
Canon will demonstrate the “Canon Virtual Production System,” which uses high-speed RF mount communication to communicate and calculate lens and camera shooting information in real time and output metadata. In addition, the company will exhibit a reference version of its “Multi-Camera Orchestration” remote camera solution that utilizes AI technology.
By linking multiple remote cameras with the camera operator’s camerawork and controlling them in a coordinated manner, it is possible to achieve a wide variety of video expression with camera control by a small number of people. In addition, a reference exhibit will be on display of software that simplifies color matching between the remote cameras and the main camera, which serves as the color standard.
The EOS VR SYSTEM expands your content viewing experience
EOS VR SYSTEM products will be on display, including the RF lens for 3D video shooting, “RF-S7.8mm F4 STM DUAL” (scheduled for release in mid-November 2024), which is compatible with “Spatial Video” of “Apple Vision Pro.”
In addition, IMAGICA GROUP Co., Ltd. will set up a viewing corner where visitors can watch VR footage of the stratosphere shot using the EOS R5 C cinema camera (released in March 2022) and the RF5.2mm F2.8 L DUAL FISHEYE VR lens (released in December 2021), and will propose ways to use VR footage in a wide range of fields, such as entertainment and tourism.
