Insta360, well-known for their action cameras like the Insta360 GO, announced recently a major update to the Insta360 app. This update, version 1.69.0, brings several feature updates and over 40 new movement templates that make 360° editing easier. The app itself is compatible with all 360° footage from Insta360 cameras, including X4, X3, X2 and RS (360° lens).
AI automatic scene recognition
AI can now identify objects and subjects in your footage and their relationships to each other, helping you create immersive stories in seconds. Combined with scene recognition, it can automatically filter and select the best shots to export.
This means the app can not only identify children and parents, but also recognise the interactions between them and create a story.
Over 40 automatic movement templates
If you don’t know how to create movement between keyframes, try the new Auto Templates. With just a few taps, you can roll, pan, push and more between points on your timeline. Creating dynamic videos has never been easier for anyone.
