Nikon released on March 24th 2026, the latest firmware and software updates for the Nikon Z CINEMA “Nikon ZR” cameras. This update, amongst other fixes, includes “NX Tether” integration.
The details of each update are as follows:
Nikon ZR Firmware Version 1.11
- This update resolves an issue where the touch controls on the image monitor malfunction when [Setup Menu] > [Touch Operation] > [Glove Mode] is set to [ON].
- Fixed an issue where the shutter speed would change when transitioning from S mode/M mode to user setting mode and then returning to S mode/M mode while the [High-Frequency Flicker Reduction] function was enabled.
NX Tether (Ver. 2.5.0)
- Supports decimal point display of video frame rate.
