“PXO AKIRA” is a new mobile shooting system that utilizes virtual production
Sony unveiled for the first time the cutting-edge video production system known as “PXO AKIRA,” which revolutionizes conventional methods for filming moving objects such as vehicles and other conveyances, enabling safe, low-cost, and highly flexible creative work.
PXO AKIRA is an all-in-one solution that combines an advanced robot camera crane, a custom-designed motion platform, and digital twin tools that integrate LED walls to enable shooting using virtual production for any scene featuring moving objects. “XYN:” an integrated software and hardware solution that supports spatial content production
Sony will be developing “XYN,” an integrated solution of software and hardware that supports spatial content production. In addition to the imaging, sensing, and display technologies that the company has developed, the solution uses its own algorithms to accurately capture objects, people’s movements, and backgrounds in real space and efficiently reproduce them in a 3D CG production environment, enabling a flexible workflow. At the booth, visitors can experience products and solutions currently under development.
The world of “LEGO Horizon Adventures” and mxmtoon’s music
“LEGO Horizon Adventure” is a humorous game that recreates the world of the action RPG “Horizon” series entirely with LEGO blocks. The theme song, created by mxmtoon, expands the world of “Horizon” in a novel way, and a new music video will also be released in advance. This project was made possible through collaboration that combined the music of mxmtoon with the creativity of various teams, including Guerrilla, the LEGO Group, Pixomondo, and Sony. At the booth, visitors will be able to actually play the game, as well as watch a preview of the music video and a making-of video explaining the background to the realization of this project.
