Nikon at CES 2025 Main exhibits
Immersive video content
Videos shot by a drone by Nikon subsidiary Nikon Creates Co., Ltd. will be screened at the booth entrance, allowing visitors to enjoy immersive footage on two large screens measuring 7m x 3m and 2.5m x 3m.
Robot Vision System
The system combines dynamic visual acuity superior to that of humans with an image processing engine to realize flexible robot movement. In the demonstration, set in a futuristic kitchen, the robot showed how it could capture objects flexibly, quickly and accurately. The robot arm is equipped with Nikon’s “C3 eMotion.”
Libretto processing
The laser-based micro-processing technology, inspired by shark skin, reduces frictional resistance in air and water. You can also experience displaying processed objects and taking a quiz using a touch panel.
In-vehicle camera system
You can experience the system, which was created in collaboration with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation. By putting on VR goggles, you can check the distance and surroundings while experiencing the field of view of a truck.
“Nikon Z series” Mirrorless Cameras on Display
The latest Z series and the Nikon Z50II will be on display. Professional portrait photography will also be available. In addition, the development of a lunar camera in collaboration with NASA will be introduced. Technologies for the harsh lunar environment, such as thermal insulation blankets, will be on display.
Virtual Production
The “Studio Extreme” experiential exhibit will be set up, which will allow visitors to shoot footage that blends the real and virtual worlds. Using the motion control system Studiobot LT and a camera from RED Digital Cinema, Inc., visitors will be able to experience creating a weather forecast program.
*”Studio Extreme” is a joint exhibit with Disguise Technologies Limited.
