IBC2026

Ahead of IBC2026, in Amsterdam from September 11th to 14th, 2026, Aximmetry announced the addition of two major new features to its platform. The new features are deep AI integration across the entire production workflow and native support for Gaussian Splats, which will enable the creation of photorealistic virtual sets in minutes. Both features will be demonstrated live at the Aximmetry booth (7.D09) during the exhibition.

AI seamlessly integrates into the production team’s existing workflow.
Aximmetry announced the further expansion of its commitment to intuitive, operator-friendly production tools through directly integrating AI capabilities into every stage of the workflow. The new Aximmetry AI Assistant allows production teams to chat directly with AI models within the platform and integrate their own AI agents through MCP (Model Context Protocol) support. In short, studios can leverage their existing AI tools without having to learn a new interface.
Production Teams Can Now Do the Following:
- AI guides the project structure and builds a virtual production from scratch.
- Set up cameras, I/O, and tracking devices in minutes, not hours.
- From rehearsals to live broadcasts, we consistently adjust parameters and configure the program settings.
- Create Engineer Flow Graph scripts faster with fewer errors.
- Use AI Compounds to generate graphics, lower thirds, and B-rolls from simple text prompts.
- Quickly troubleshoot setup and configuration issues to minimize pre-broadcast downtime.

Gaussian Splats in Aximmetry: Photorealistic virtual sets you can create in minutes
Aximmetry also incorporates native support for Gaussian Splats, a rapidly growing technology for creating photorealistic 3D environments. This feature allows production teams to efficiently convert photos and virtual scenes into stunning 3D backgrounds of broadcast-ready quality.
