NAB2024
Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. and Panasonic Entertainment & Communication Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Panasonic”) will be showcasing at the NAB2024 show.
Panasonic will be at booth C3310. Under the theme of “Capture, Create, Deliver,” solutions based on Panasonic’s latest video technology and new product lineup will be introduced in four areas representing video production workflows.

Capture area
- Sports Broadcasting Set
Panasonic is building an IP-based shooting system intended for use at broadcast stations and studios. This will showcase solutions that improve the efficiency of on-site operations using IP and support shooting with a higher degree of freedom.
The footage of the Panasonic studio camera and 4K integrated camera AW-UE160W/K in the corner is a system built with SMPTE ST 2110 and the IT/IP platform KAIROS in the Create area, and guests can actually see the next generation studio system that utilizes IP.
Additionally, Nikon will be exhibiting the outdoor compatible 4K integrated camera AW-UR100GJ in conjunction with other companies’ robotics systems. - PTZ Line Up Display
All models of Panasonic’s remote cameras are on display. They are useful not only in professional settings such as broadcast stations and event photography, but also in a wide range of situations such as schools and businesses. Among them, Panasonic also will introduce the 4K integrated camera AW-UE4WGN/KGN that has acquired Microsoft Teams Rooms certification. The AW-UE4WGN/KGN is a remote camera that combines professional video technology with ease of use such as video transmission and power supply via LAN and USB. In order to obtain certification, the color tone and operation mode have been updated to make them suitable for use in conference rooms, and when using Microsoft Teams, it enables comfortable video communication with easy connection and operation.
In addition, the new 4K integrated camera AW-UE30W/K, scheduled to be released in the second quarter of 2024, will be exhibited for the first time. - Conference Room SetIntroducing
Various solutions for efficient and high-quality video shooting and distribution of web conferences, online seminars, etc. in a corner designed to resemble a conference room.
At Panasonic at NAB2024 booth, they will demonstrate video shooting using Media Production Suite, a software platform that integrates various applications for Panasonic cameras. Guests can experience automatic tracking using facial recognition using the new plug-in “Auto Tracking,” which will be released in the future, and video compositing without a green screen using the AI Keying function of “Video Mixer.”
Panasonic also plans to demonstrate a collaboration function that uses Panasonic’s WX-AM800 ceiling array microphone to identify the speaker’s location and automatically switch the remote camera in the direction of the appropriate preset.
Create area
- KAIROS Station
A corner where guests can experience video production hands-on using Kairos Creator and various control panels on the IT/IP platform KAIROS, which is responsible for “creating” during live broadcasts and distribution, and seamlessly connects “shooting” and “projecting.” Panasonic will showcase an IP-based video production and distribution system through collaboration with the camera system in the Capture area via SMPTE ST 2110.
Furthermore, they will be exhibiting for the first time the new mainframe Kairos Core 200 AT-KC200TL1, which supports SDI input and output as standard while maintaining the freedom of video production such as unlimited layers and flexible viewing angle settings. - Switcher Mobile Cart
Compact live switchers AV-UHS500 and AV-HSW10 are installed in a portable wagon. On display is a setup that imagines temporary operation at live events, etc. Additionally, the AV-HSW10 dedicated software control panel AV-SF10G, which is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2024, will be on display, allowing visitors to experience its operation.
Deliver area
- PANASONIC KAIROS
KAIROS’s innovative approach to 32:9 screen management system for LED Walls utilizes the Canvas function to minimize video lag, overlap all video material as layers, or use the entire Canvas. This offers filmmakers new possibilities for visual storytelling and fan engagement.
LUMIX area
- Actual products such as full-frame mirrorless single-lens cameras LUMIX S5II and S5IIX and interchangeable lenses will be on display. Guests can experience not only individual cameras and lenses, but also practical workflows that combine them with other companies’ products.
New Panasonic products and technologies to be exhibited at NAB2024
KAIROS Mainframe (Kairos Core 200) AT-KC200TL1
The KAIROS mainframe (scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2024) supports SDI input and output as standard, while maintaining the freedom and flexibility that only a software-based product can offer, such as unlimited layers and flexible viewing angle settings.
AW-UE30W/K 4K integrated camera
A remote camera that achieves 4K/30p high-quality video. With a 20x optical zoom and 74.1° wide angle, guests can clearly capture the atmosphere of the venue and the expressions of the lecturers and speakers. In addition, since it supports IP and USB output, video distribution via online conference systems and streaming services can be easily performed (scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2024).
AW-SF400G Video Mixer software key
Paid plugin for Media Production Suite. Equipped with AI Keying, which uses AI automatic image recognition to synthesize people and materials without using chromakey, and a smart switching function that enables video synthesis using various video materials with simple operations (released in the first quarter of 2024) schedule).
AV-SF10G Software control panel
A software control panel that allows various operations and settings of the AV-HSW10 from a PC or tablet device (Windows/Mac) connected to the compact live switcher AV-HSW10 via a network. Input/output video is displayed in multi-view on the control screen, allowing intuitive operation while checking the video (scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2024).
